APDIS Laser Radar
APDIS (Accurate Precision Distance Scanning) is the new generation of Nikon Laser Radar. It introduces a new design with new benefits while maintaining the inherent characteristics that make Laser Radar a truly unique metrology system: automated and repeatable to reduce operator contact and improve process control; fast and accurate measurements to keep data sets small and productivity high; and long-range, non-contact to keep parts and operators safe.
APDIS MV430/430E - MV450/450E
Capable of measuring objects up to 50 meters away, without contact, with an error of 0.5 mm, the system performs 3D inspections of large volumes with an accuracy between 17 μm (at 0.5 m) and 313 μm (at 30 m). It scans highly reflective materials and surfaces of all colors and captures obliquely reflected light, including the darkest ones. With an inspection speed of up to 2000 points per second, through mirrors, it inspects rounded edges and measures shapes not visible from the outside.
In-Line High Volume Measurement
Body-in-white (BIW) inspection achieved by measuring with a laser radar system in a robot. This solution allows you to obtain accurate measurements in vehicle coordinates and direct comparison with CAD, minimizing the measurement cycle time. APDIS is designed for use on the shop floor with proven water and dust protection (IEC protection class IP54).
