The new iLT sets a new benchmark in measurement technology by reducing the weight of API’s traditional laser tracker range by approximately 50%, weighing just 4.9 kg with an integrated battery. This enables fully wireless operation and exceptional mobility, even in confined spaces or outside the factory floor.
Equipped with hot-swappable batteries, an integrated controller, and Wi-Fi connectivity, the iLT can be transported in a carry-on-size backpack, expanding its usability to industrial environments, shipyards, modular construction sites, and outdoor applications.
Beyond portability, the system incorporates significant technological advances, including:
• Absolute Distance Measurement (ADM) laser technology for high-speed data capture;
• An 8 MP camera with iVision™ fast auto-lock, ensuring reliable measurements even with difficult line-of-sight conditions;

The iLT is fully compatible with all existing API Radian accessories, including probes and 3D scanners, and is available in two versions: the standard model and the high-performance iLTx, offering a linear measurement range of up to 80 m while maintaining professional-grade accuracy.
