What is EcoAir?
EcoAir is an automatic compressed air shutoff module designed to shut off air supply to CMM air bearings during periods when the machine is not operating. This feature, which can be integrated into new machines or retrofitted to existing equipment equipped with the LK NMC300 controller, allows for a reduction of up to 95% in compressed air consumption during downtime.
This approach not only represents a direct saving in operating costs, but also allows minimizing the carbon footprint associated with the continued use of energy resources. Furthermore, the downtime required to activate the air cut is configurable and can be set from just one minute, giving the system high flexibility to adapt to the production environment.
